Finally! Trader Joe's Expands to New Cities

We totally get it. You see people gushing about Wegmans' farmers' market - style layout or those famous Publix sandwiches, while your local grocery stores offer just the usual shopping experience. And then there's Trader Joe's, with its cute mini totes and delicious mini sheet - cakes. If your town didn't have a Trader Joe's, your luck might change soon.

Trader Joe's is planning to open 30 new stores across the country. One just opened in a big city for the first time, and it's a shock that it wasn't there earlier.

Trader Joe’s First Store in New Orleans

On August 14, Trader Joe's opened its first store in New Orleans on Tulane Avenue. There's also a second store coming to NOLA. The location will be on Napoleon Avenue, though the opening date hasn't been announced yet.

This isn't the only news for Louisiana. 17 other states are getting new Trader Joe's stores too.

According to the Trader Joe's website, 30 new stores are on the way. One opened in California earlier this summer, and a new one in Colorado opened last month. Many on the list don't have opening dates announced. Since they're listed as "coming soon", some might open later this year. Check the Trader Joe's website for details and date announcements.
